Sur la route depuis 14 mois ... 11.600 km à vélo couché
Le site a ete mis a jour, ainsi que les photos. Il se peut que notre blog soit bloque en Chine donc ne vous inquietez pas si vous etes sans nouvelles pendant longtemps.
Nous quittons Osh demain matin avec Dan et Krista, deux Anglais qui vont jusqu'en Australie. Arrivee a Kashgar prevue d'ici 10 a 15 jours. Ensuite, nous hesitons... la Karakoram (route plein sud) nous tente beaucoup, c'est une route mythique pour les cyclistes. On pourrait faire un aller-retour ou bien faire une boucle, il y a une petite route qui longe le Tibet avant de redescendre sur la route sud du Taklamakan... a voir! Ensuite, nous passons probablement par la route nord (via Aksu) pour rejoindre Turfan. La route sud a l'air plus difficile en terme de ravitaillement.
Albane et Benoit sont partis dimanche, presses par les dates de leur visa tadjik. Ils seront bientot dans des paysages spectaculaires, entre 4000 et 5000 m d'altitude.
La suite de la route: nous comptons voler courant septembre de Hong-Kong sur Lima. Perou, Bolivie, Chili, Argentine, et Ushuaia en decembre ou janvier.

On the road for 14 months ... 11,600 km on recumbents
The website has been updated as well as the pictures. Our blog might be blocked in China so don't worry if you don't get any news for a
while.
We leave Osh tomorrow morning with Dan and Krista, two English cyclists who are going to Australia. We plan to be in Kashgar in 10 to 15 days. Then, we are not sure... the Karakoram (road south) sounds really tempting, it is a mythical route for cyclists. We could cycle and come back to Kashgar or do a loop and take a small road along Tibet before joining the Southern Silk road (via Hetian)... we will see! Then, we will probably take the northern road (via Aksu) to arrive in Turfan. The southern road seems more difficult to get food and water.
Albane and Benoit left on Sunday morning, rushed by the dates of their tadjik visa. Soon they will be cycling through amazing sceneries between 4000 and 5000m of altitude.
What's next? We plan to fly from Hong Kong to Lima in September. Peru, Bolivia, Chile,
Argentina and hopefully we will be in Ushuaia in December or January.
